Notice on the 5th Freshman Sports Competiton in College of Economics

Dear students of the 2023 classes,

to promote the spirit of striving, competition, and struggle among our students, we are holding the 5^th Sports Competition in College of Economics. The specific notice is as follows:

I. Competition Time and Venue

October 28, 2023 (Saturday), Playground

II. Competition Events

1. Individual Events

   (1) Track Group: Women's 100m, Men's 100m, Women's 200m, Men's 200m, Women's 400m, Men's 400m, Women's 800m, Men's 800m

   (2) Field Group: Women's High Jump, Men's High Jump, Women's Long Jump, Men's Long Jump, Women's Triple Jump, Men's Triple Jump, Women's Shot Put, Men's Shot Put

2. Group Events

   (1) Dance Performance (20 people, at least two males)

   (2) Fun Project (6 people, class teacher must participate)

   (3) Tug of War (6 males and 9 females)

   (4) Skipping Rope (5 males and 7 females, 2 people shaking the rope)

   (5) Kangaroo Jump (4 males and 4 females)

   (6) 4×100m Relay ( male and female groups)

   Note: All competitors must check in at the check-in desk 15 minutes in advance. Those who do not arrive after three roll calls in 20 minutes will be deemed to have forfeited.

   III. Registration Requirements

   1.Students of the Class of 2023 (international students)

   Register as a class unit. International students from the Class of 2023 undergraduates and postgraduates are combined into one team.

   (1) Individual Events: Each person is limited to two events, and each class is limited to two people per individual event.

   (2) Group Events: Register as a class unit. One person can participate in two group events.

   Note: Each person is limited to four "individual + group events"; all students in the class must participate in the opening ceremony.

   IV. Scoring

3. Score by team for total team points (Dance performance and Fun Project are not included in the total score and are included in the evaluation of the Spiritual Civilization Award).

4. Individual events and group events score points for the top eight places, respectively scoring 9,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 points.

   V. Awards

5. Individual events and group events. Certificates of honor will be awarded to the first, second and third places.

6. Total team score. According to the total score obtained by the team from high to low order, there will be one first prize, two second prizes ,three third prizes and one special prize.

   VI. Opening Ceremony Requirements

7. The entrance speech is about 150 words long.Creative display time is within 30 seconds.

8. The entrance formation requires five to six columns.Creative display can change formation.
