The 4th Sino-French Simulation Business Negotiation Finished Perfectly

On the afternoon of May 7, the fourth Sino-French simulated business negotiation, sponsored by the Academic Affairs Office and the Professional Skills Improvement Program undertaken by the Department of International Economics and Trade of the School of Economics, ended successfully on the second floor of the Chengdu Campus Library. As a negotiating party, the students of the School of Exchange and Economics of the Nissin School of Business in France conducted a simulated business negotiation around the “French wine export trade”. Chen Liqing, deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office, Chen Qing, deputy director of the National Cooperation Office, He Renhui, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Economics, Wu Ping, deputy dean of the School of Economics, Kang Yuyang, Chinese representative of the Nancy Business School, and Shen Qianling, director of the Department of International Trade, and related teachers of the International Trade Department Invited to attend.

Before the start of the negotiation, the host introduced the guests, the representatives of the negotiating parties and the activities, followed by He Renhui, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Economics, and expressed his appreciation and prospects for the Sino-French business negotiations. In his speech, secretary He first introduced the origin of the simulated business negotiations, and expressed his gratitude to the instructors of the business negotiations. After that, secretary He led everyone to review the previous business negotiations. Secretary He also impressed the names of students participating in the first business negotiations, and the analysis of the career development of Chinese students who participated in business negotiations in the past, found that most of the students who participated in business negotiations have achieved good development. They are studying the theory of business trade. As a result, many aspects of the use and division of labor and teamwork have also been enhanced, so that everyone recognizes the importance of simulating business negotiations, and further verifies that the simulated business negotiations have a good exercise for the development of students.

During the negotiation process, through the close cooperation of the team, in line with the principle of long-term friendly cooperation and the greatest profit for the company, the team members fully integrated into the practice of business negotiation. The two sides launched a fierce battle around the price of red wine.

In the second half of the negotiations, the results of the negotiations on the first half of the two sides were based on further discussions on the transportation methods, transportation time and payment time of the red wine, and finally reached a consensus. Subsequently, the signing ceremony of the two companies was carried out.

After the negotiations, the guests commented on the Sino-French business negotiations. Chen Qing, deputy director of the China National Cooperation Department, expressed his high praise for this Sino-French simulated business negotiation. Both players have shown their own style. He also expressed the hope that the Sino-French business negotiations will be better and better in the future.

Finally, the host announced the awards list of the negotiations and the winners of the finals, and presented the awarding ceremony to the winning buyers. After the guests and the contestants took a group photo, the Sino-French business negotiations ended successfully.

Throughout the whole process of the event, the School of Economics is carrying the opportunity to let the Chinese and French students exercise their ability in the simulation, promote communication, and improve their initial intentions. With the international teaching as the background and the direct competition, they provide business negotiation platform for both sides.
